There is no denying that Brisbane (QLD) based songstress Jacqui Ryan’s natural, raw and individual talent comes from years of hard work starting at the tender age of 12. After many years of touring the festival circuit, performing alongside the likes of Lisa & Jess Origlasso (a.k.a The Veronica's), The McClymonts, Lyn Bowtell, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole & Adam Brand; September 2007 saw Jacqui independently release her debut EP "A Moment in Time" to an ever increasing fan base, finally giving her hungry fans something of herself.

Jacqui's happy-go-lucky/fun loving personality gave her the ability to have fun and make fun of a situation (one cannot usually control) as demonstrated in her first single from the EP adeptly titled "Unlucky in Love". The talent and control Jacqui shows not only in this first single, but on all the EP songs did not go unnoticed, as Australian and International audiences demanded a piece of the action. The debut of "Unlucky in Love" was a chart success on many local radio stations in Brisbane and around Australia, airing to a large air audience and was named a HIT prediction on several radio shows. Stations all over Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands and France wanted a piece of this singer/songwriters music and they wanted it fast!

When it comes to taking her skills to the stage and performing live, Jacqui is no stranger. Pop, rock and modern country music is what you will see her performing at some of Australia's most popular and famous music events. Jacqui was recently short listed for the major Hollywood blockbuster New Moon soundtrack which has brought her music to the attention of so many more fans of all ages and genres across the world. The simple reason for this? Jacqui has an amazing ability to compose lyrics and turn mere words into inspirational songs and capture the hearts of her listeners.

Jacqui's music career keeps climbing as she hits new levels. After many months of song writing and pre production recording, Jacqui's long awaited, debut full length album is set for release mid 2010.
